Foredom®'s A-M89 model tapered mandrel offers convenience, as it will fit into any collet-style handpiece that can accommodate a 1/4" shank tool. Easily screw your buffs or wheels onto the tapered mandrel. For use with 1", 2" and 3" buffs. 1/4" shank, 3/8" arbor hole. The threads on the mandrel will help keep your buffs and wheels secure and stable with your flex shaft machine is running. Maximum RPM speed is 18,000. *Please note that tapered mandrels come in different shank and taper dimensions. Be sure to select the right one for the accessory and collet (or chuck) you intend to use. Measures: 2-1/2" long x 1/2" in diameter, with a 1/4" shank size.
