This inclusive set is ideal for metal melting and sand casting applications! Includes a 5 Kg Propane Foundry Furnace, (10) lbs of Quick Cast Sand Casting Clay, and a 2-Piece Cast Iron Mold Flask Frame. Plus, it features a pair of 19" Hinge-Style Tongs, Parting Powder, Anhydrous Borax Casting Flux, and a Graphite Foundry Crucible.

• The 5 Kg Propane Furnace is both efficient and economical, and can melt up to 5 Kg (measured in Brass, other metal materials will vary). Designed for jewelers, metalsmiths, and refiners. This high temperature, fast melting furnace is designed with a powerful DFP burner to heat up to 2300°F. It efficiently melts gold, silver, copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, cast iron, and other metals! Absolutely no electricity is required. Features a heavy-duty steel exterior with refractory cement on the furnace floor and firebrick, therefore providing both superior strength and durability; furnace interior is fully lined with 1" of ceramic wool and the cover is lined with 2" to 3" of the ceramic wool as well. Furnace Body Constructed Of: Steel 16 gauge (1.5 mm) and a lightweight shell. Chamber Dimensions: 6" W x 7.6" H (150 mm x 190 mm). Maximum crucible size is 11 lbs (5 Kg). Outside Dimensions: 8" W x 12" H (200 mm x 300 mm). Connection kit included: Gas pressure regulator, 1 - 90 PSI (0 - 6 bar) gauge with manometer, an 8" gas hose, and 2 clamps.

• Our Quick Cast is an ultra-fine, oil-bonded and pre-mixed moldable clay/sand mixture that allows you to cast highly detailed silver, gold, and copper materials. This method allows you to virtually duplicate dimensional objects (such as ancient coins, toys, wax, wood, plastics, etc.) with gold, copper, bronze, or silver using this reusable clay. Great for jewelry making. The molds can be made from objects composed of wood, wax, epoxy, plastics, and metal. Quick Cast Sand sand is a cost-effective way to cast your items. Not recommended for designs with undercuts. This is a Delft Clay alternative.

• The mold flask is sturdy cast iron vessel that is ideal for use with our casting sand/clay. Measures: 4-3/4" x 3" x 2".

• Tongs are 19" long and made from sturdy black carbon. Firmly grips onto the lip of the crucible.

• Graphite Foundry Crucibles are made from a combination of graphite and clay, and are recommended for melting your precious, or non-precious metals and can handle large batches of material. Their thick inner walls can handle direct heat and open-flame foundries. Rated to withstand temperatures up to 1560°F to 2912°F (850°C to 1600°C). Measurements: 5-1/4" high x 4-3/4" in diameter (exterior dimensions); 4-3/4" deep x 3-3/4" in diameter (interior dimensions).

• The 13" long-split cowhide welding gloves are ideal for refining precious metals, such as gold, silver, and copper during high-heat temperature applications. They also work well for handling casting tools such as ingot molds, tongs, and crucibles. Designed with a protective flannel lining. One size fits most.

• Parting powder provides a non-stick surface while working with the Petrobond quick cast sand/clay (4 ounce package).

• Anhydrous borax aids in keeping your molten metals at a liquified state, and helps draw out impurities (4 ounce package).
